O portal ScoreHero colocou online uma lista de músicas que, alegadamente, vão compor a pauta da versão final de Guitar Hero III. Para já, a Activision limitou-se a não comentar o sucedido, enquanto que o portal em questão se apressou a retirar a lista dos seus servidores. Uma decisão misteriosa, que pode indiciar a veracidade dos factos.
